Is Shipping Free?

Yes. Wherever you are in the world there are no extra shipping costs. The price you see for your painting is the price you pay! Wholesale orders please contact Customer Service.

Is this painting an original?

Yes absolutely, each picture is painted by hand and signed by our artist, without using any mechanical aides. Even if someone orders the same painting, they will not be identical.

Is the image accurate?

Each painting is created by hand in oils on canvass and therefore will always be an artists interpretation, an original, not an exact copy of a photograph.

Is this painting in stock?

No, we don't keep stock; we do have some paintings in our gallery, which we offer in the 'special offers' promotions section on this site.

How do you package your paintings?

Paintings are shipped rolled - never folded - in mint condition and in strong plastic tubes to assure their safe arrival. Throughout our packing and shipping process we take exceptional care to see your order will arrive to you in perfect condition.

How long will it take to receive my package?

Each painting is produced within 1-2 weeks of receiving the order, normal delivery times 1-2 weeks, so you should expect to receive it at your door 2- 5 weeks. We will keep you informed from the day you order with regular email updates of the progress of your personally created masterpiece.

How Can I Get My Painting Stretched Or Framed?

Most framers will be experienced in stretching and framing oil on canvas paintings. All of our paintings come with a large border beyond the area of the painting so that stretching the painting is a simple job for a framer. If you would like assistance in locating a framer in your area, please contact us.

Can I Have my Painting Gallery Wrapped (Floating Frame)?

Yes, all of our paintings come with a wide clean border so that the canvas can be easily stretched over the frame. The floating frame is a very simple method of displaying your painting. It is quiet appropriate for this type of oil painting.

If you want your border painted as an extension of the painting, so that it is visible (no white canvas can be seen) over the stretcher bars please let us know at the time of placing your order. This is a free service!

Can I order a painting if it's not a car?

Yes, large part of our business is commissions include pets and people portraits and various other art. Send us you original by post or email and we will send you a quotation for the work. If you confirm the order we will give you payment instructions by email.

What should I do if my package has not yet arrived?

You should first review shipping times (above) to see if your package is late. If your package is indeed late, please contact Customer Service.

What should I do if my package was damaged while being shipped?

Please contact Customer Service with your Order ID, name, and any other relevant information. Thank you.

Canceling Orders

Because each painting is a private commission we cannot accept cancellations of orders.

What is your return policy?

If you purchase a painting from us and are unhappy with it you can return it within 14 days of the date you received it for a refund of 100% of the retail price (we do not refund your shipping costs). You must return by recorded delivery and you must provide us with a scan of your shipping dispatch receipt. We are not obliged to issue a refund after the 14-day window has passed.

What about privacy?

We do not have your credit card information, only Paypal has that. We only have your shipping records and your e-mail address for administration purposes; this information is kept secure and private by Carsart.co.uk

What if the dimensions are different?

All of the dimensions listed are standard sizes. It's normal to round up the dimensions. However, this difference is generally about .5'' to 1.5''. If you find that the painting you received is not the correct size, please contact Customer Service.
